AccuQuilt | Omaha Corporate Video | thinkMOTION

Our good friends and clients at AccuQuilt have always used our Omaha corporate video services to their advantage. I probably know more about quilting than I ever thought I would, but I love it.  What a great profession, right? One day I’m shooting medical videos for UNMC,  the next an artist,  and then to a quilting company.  AccuQuilt has worked remotely and utilizing Facebook Live like crazy during the pandemic and asked us to create little commercials for small breaks in their live shows.  I always appreciate how this unique and innovative company can push the envelope in reaching and listening to their audience.  Omaha corporate video | thinkMOTION

UMNC | iEXCEL | Omaha Branding Videos

Out of all the Omaha Branding Videos we’ve done, this one was definitely very intriguing. The mission was how to tell the story of this technologically innovative simulation building for UNMC. The only catch was that this building opened right before COVID so…no people.  The iEXCEL team and myself collaborated and came up with a tour trilogy. This was the first video that we completed in the trilogy; the third floor. The technology in this building on the UNMC campus in Omaha is mind boggling and we are proud to partner with iEXCEL with this trilogy and future branding videos.

Dr. Susan LaFlesche Picotte Center | thinkMOTION | Omaha Non-Profit videos

Whenever someone approaches us about Omaha Non-Profit videos, I’m immediately curious of their mission and their passion.  When I was approached two years ago this client told me it was a video for the Dr. Susan La Flesche Picotte Memorial Hospital, I had sadly never heard of the hospital or Dr. Susan La Flesche Picotte.  She was not only the first female Native American doctor in Nebraska, but it’s speculated she was the first Nebraska doctor, male or female. So much of Native American history in our state is completely missed and neglected, but his a brilliant step in a good direction for the preservation of a Nebraska legacy. Several people in our state are renovating the Dr. Susan La Flesche’s original hospital in Walthill, NE.  It’s a remarkable and inspiring story which is brilliantly written about by Nebraska’s own Joe Starita in his book ‘A Warrior of the People’. This Omaha Non-profit video production was the first wave of fundraising for the hospital and we are honored to be apart of this huge and significant endeavor.  Omaha Non-profit Videos | thinkMOTION

Artist Chris Langille | Omaha Video | thinkMOTION

In all my years of doing Omaha Video production this might perhaps be the most touching. Half documentary and half memorial, the Langille family asked me to produce a film about the late artist Chris Langille. What a life. What work. The Langille family is in the process to open up the farm to the community. Of course, COVID hit and that will be delayed. This video was played virtually for a memorial of sorts for Chris and, also, as a invitation to the community of what we will come.  I can’t tell you what a privilege it is to be part of this process of capturing and documenting an oeuvre of work that demands to be seen.  Omaha Video | thinkMOTION.

I love that Omaha photography covers so many subjects and I cherish the opportunity to once again diversify the thinkMOTION portfolio. What a privilege to be able to document the nearly 10,000 works of art from the mind of artist Chris Langille.  I’m not sure we’re halfway through yet but I’m humbled to record Chris’ oeuvre of work that fills all the nooks and crannies of the Langille farm in Loess Hills. How peaceful to be among the cottonwoods and prairie and the beaver dams while simultaneously observing and capturing art at its very vulnerable. A mix of ceramics, stone and wood sculptures to the Found Object series to sketches and etchings and tapestries.  A special shout out to Omaha photography icon, Marc Longbrake, who has become an essential part in making sure this massive amount of art photography actually gets done!  Be sure to check out the video we made to catch a glimpse of Chris life and philosophy. When Berkadia, a Kansas City Company, called about omaha commericial real estate photography, I was thrilled to be able to take photos of the downtown Brandeis. Berkadia sells multi-million dollar properties to private investors all over the world. They utilized our omaha commericial real estate photography services to highlight a beautiful Papillion apartment complex and the Brandeis building downtown. From clubhouses to cool downtown architecture, what fun! Omaha Commercial Real Estate Photography | thinkMOTION.

UNO & UNMC Collaboration | Omaha Video Production | thinkMOTION

We’re always pleased when we can bring our omaha video production skills to highlight innovative and thought provoking subject matter. This project had us at both the UNO an UNMC campuses, telling the story of the newly created Medical Humanities Center with the Medical Humanities Major at UNO at the heart of it. What excited me most about this ambitious project was the heart and passion that everyone I interviewed had about the possibilities of the medical students learning through humanities which in turn would make them more well rounded, emphatic, and creative healthcare. Truly intriguing! Interviews, art, drones, slow motion…we brought out everything to make this omaha video production project as important as it actually is.
