Sunflowers | Nebraska video Companies

Loved the chance to be able to film a sunflower farm in South Dakota

I’m sure that many Nebraska video companies get to film agriculture, after all, we ARE in the Midwest where farming is king. But have any of Nebraska video companies filmed sunflowers!

This was a highlight video taken from a longer project that a detailed documentary style video about Edinger Bro’s operation.  Over the past years we have been providing agricultural filming for Farm Credit Services of America.  Specifically, the employee resource group called Roots.

They had a brilliant idea. Even though they are an agricultural lending company, that doesn’t mean that all the employees of Farm Credit have ever been on a farm. Roots developed the idea of virtual visits where they would send out a Midwest video company (us) to their customers’ farms and make a documentary style film about the operation.

Originally, these were going to put in place live customer visits because of Covid. However, they were so popular that we’ve been doing them every summer for the past 4 years or so. What a brilliant idea for their employees who sit in an office all that day serving their customers to be able to be transported visually to their farms.  Our Nebraska video company has been to the tops of mountains in Wyoming where cattle were grazing to the Dakota plains running with the bison.

Such an innovative and thoughtful video series to do. Using video for internal communications helps companies deliver clear, engaging, and consistent messages to employees. It enhances understanding by combining visuals and audio, making complex information easier to digest.

Video also fosters a stronger company culture by adding a personal touch, especially for remote or large teams. Plus, it increases message retention and allows employees to revisit key information when needed.

Fun film fact: The Edinger Bro’s sunflower fields were featured in the original Twisters movie. It’s the last scene when Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton are running from the monster tornado.
